Our History

From our humble beginnings performing custom farm work for our neighbors, BBI has steadily grown into a diverse heavy civil construction contractor capable of completing the most complex earthwork & grading, bridge & foundation, and sewer & water projects for public works, commercial, residential, and industrial projects throughout southwestern Indiana, western Kentucky, and southern Illinois. After nearly 60 years of family ownership, we transitioned to a 100% employee-owned company (ESOP) in 2020.

We are proud of our excellent safety record and have an outstanding team who prioritize and educate our workforce to ensure everyone starts and ends their day healthy.
